Shad Goltz begins his first year as Chaplain for the Kell football team. He is a native of Marietta; he graduated from Sprayberry High School and Kennesaw State University with a BS in Psychology. He earned his Master of Christian Education at Southwestern Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Tx.

He is the Youth Pastor at Noonday Church in Marietta, Ga and has worked with teenagers for over 15 years at different churches. His desire is to be a 'spiritual' coach for the players. Shad and his wife, Mary, live in Canton, GA with their two children: Caleb (9) and Lily (7).
